Testo dell’intervento di Michael Waldstein (professore associato all’Università di Notre Dame e presidente dell'International Theological Institute di Gaming, Austria; vd. p. 7) in occasione dell’incontro di presentazione per la pubblicazione in lingua inglese dei tre volumi del “PerCorso” di Luigi Giussani per i tipi di McGill-Queen’s University Press (The Religious Sense, editato nel 1997; At the Origin of the Christian Claim e Why the Church pubblicati nel 1998 e nel 2001). L’evento ebbe luogo il 26 novembre 1997 presso l’ Istituto Agostinianum di Roma.
Nel 2003 lo scritto diviene il capitolo “Living the Real Intensely” del volume miscellaneo A Generative Thought: An Introduction to the Works of Luigi Giussani, curato da Elisa Buzzi (McGill-Queen’s University Press, pp. 51-57).
La presente pubblicazione raccoglie i contributi offerti in occasione dei due incontri di presentazione dei suddetti volumi, svoltisi nelle città di Roma e New York. I testi sono proposti sia in inglese sia in italiano.
