Testo dell’intervento di David J. Horowitz (musicista e compositore; vd. p. 36) in occasione dell’incontro di presentazione per la pubblicazione in lingua inglese dei tre volumi del “PerCorso” di Luigi Giussani, per i tipi di McGill-Queen’s University Press (The Religious Sense, editato nel 1997; At the Origin of the Christian Claim e Why the Church pubblicati nel 1998 e nel 2001). L’evento ebbe luogo l’11 dicembre 1997 a New York presso l’Auditorium della Dag Hammarskjold Library (U. N. Headquarters).
Nel 2003 lo scritto è riproposto in lingua inglese con il titolo “The Religious Sense and Modern Man” anche nel volume miscellaneo curato da Elisa Buzzi A Generative Thought: An Introduction to the Works of Luigi Giussani, (McGill-Queen’s University Press, pp. 177-181).
Il presente volumetto raccoglie tutti i contributi svolti in occasione dei due incontri di presentazione dei suddetti volumi, tenutisi nelle città di Roma e New York (i testi sono proposti in lingua inglese e in lingua italiana).
