Testo dell’intervento tenuto in occasione dell’incontro di presentazione per la pubblicazione in lingua inglese dei tre volumi del “Percorso” di Luigi Giussani, per i tipi di McGill-Queen’s University Press (The Religious Sense, editato nel 1997; At the Origin of the Christian Claim e Why the Church  pubblicati nel 1998 e nel 2001). L’evento ebbe luogo l’11 dicembre 1997 a New York presso l’Auditorium della Dag Hammarskjold Library (U. N. Headquarters).

Nel gennaio 1998 lo scritto è pubblicato nel volumetto «The Religious Sense and Modern Man»: On the occasion of the publication of the English edition of three works of Luigi Giussani: New York, Auditorium of the Dag Hammarskjöld Library, U.N. Headquarters, December 11, 1997 con il titolo “Luigi Giussani on the «Religious Sense» and the Cultural Situation of Our Time.” (Supplement to Litterae Communionis-Tracce, 1, 1998, pp. 25-31), pubblicazione che raccoglie tutti i contributi svolti in occasione dei due incontri di presentazione dei suddetti volumi, tenutisi nelle città di Roma e New York (i testi sono proposti in lingua inglese e in lingua italiana).
